Woodfuel in Bangladesh - Production and Marketing

Technical Papers from the National Training Course

Table of Contents

The national training course on "Integration of Woodfuel Production and Marketing in Forest, Agriculture and Tree Production Systems in Bangladesh" was organized by the Forest Department of Bangladesh with assistance of RWEDP in Bogra, in December 1996. This training course was a follow-up of the sub-regional workshop on Integrating woodfuel production in the implementation of agriculture, forestry and rural extension programs in South Asia held in Dhaka in 1995.

Twenty five participants, mostly mid level resource managers from different government and non government organizations, educational institutes and training academies, participated in the training course.

This report contains the papers which were presented and discussed during the training course. The papers cover a broad range of wood energy issues in Bangladesh.
